Captain’s Draw – What a Night! 🎉
Wow – what an unforgettable evening at the Captain’s Draw on 25 April 2025! A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for a night full of energy, excitement, and incredible vibes.
💰 The stakes were high with R40,000 in the Captain’s Draw and a whopping R167,400 in the Joker Draw pot — and for just R10 a ticket, the atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation!
🎶 From the live entertainment to the amazing eats, the night was more than just about the prizes:
🍛 Rusty’s Kitchen served up mouthwatering curries that had everyone going back for seconds
🥓 Billie Biltong delivered serious flavour with their savoury bites
🍔 Plus all the club favourites to keep everyone fuelled and festive
🕖 The draws kicked off at 19:00, but the fun started long before that — and didn’t stop until late!

What a fantastic evening! 🌟 The event was a huge success, bringing together great company under the lapa for an unforgettable night. The atmosphere was electric, with lively entertainment and delicious food from Rusty’s Kitchen that kept everyone satisfied.

On Saturday, February 15th, we had the pleasure of celebrating Beryl’s 80th birthday on the deck! 💐🥳
The ladies all contributed to a special gift, and Christine created a breathtaking money bouquet, allowing Beryl to choose something she truly loves. 🌸💰
Rusty and his team put together a delicious spread of snacks, along with tea, coffee, and juice, while Paddy baked a beautiful birthday cake. 🍰☕
Men’s captain Brian joined the festivities, shared a few kind words, and presented Beryl with flowers to mark this special occasion. 🌹
A wonderful day for a wonderful lady—happy 80th, Beryl! 💕
