Dear Members,
It is hard to believe we are already in April and Easter is upon us. It’s also my birthday this month! – I’ll be accepting gifts all month long.
I didn’t think it was possible, but my love for this club grows every day, and I am so immensely proud to be a member here and even more honoured to be this club’s captain.
On behalf of myself, the rest of the committee, and all the staff, we wish you and your families a very happy and safe Easter. For those who do not observe it, we wish you a restful period and hope you can get some rounds of golf in!
So, just a recap on what’s been happening in and around our club:
We proudly hosted two big tournaments recently, which were a resounding success. Our visitors thoroughly enjoyed how beautiful our course is and how welcoming our members are. We have had nothing but compliments from those who have visited in recent weeks.
We’ve now had three successful Captain’s Draws where the lovely Monique West has performed for us. I’d like to send a special thank you to the Ladies Section for their unwavering support of the Captain’s Draw.
The Joker has still not been won, so it will roll over to a massive R34,000 for the end of April, with the Captain’s Draw currently sitting at R17,500. Make sure you’re there to support the draws – remember, you have to be present to win. You don’t want to kick yourself if your name is drawn while you’re at home watching re-runs of 7de laan.
A massive thank you to all our staff and committee members for your hard work, dedication, and passion. You are the heartbeat of this club, and none of what we achieve would be possible without you.

Enjoy this special time with family, friends, and loved ones.
